Daly City Filipino Culture & Resource Center

The act of immigration is sometimes caused by unknown or underlying causes, but those who are part of it have to live and adapt to different environments while preserving and sharing their own culture.
This thesis project focuses on creating a culture center for Filipino Americans in the Filipino-dense city of Daly City, California. The goal of this thesis is to establish a design that utilizes a cultural artifact as a design tool to create a place of representation, cultural growth, and protection while being inclusive with the local community.

East Boston Project

Part international, study abroad and part group project, the East Boston Design Intervention brings relevant and similar experiences from Barcelona to East Boston.
This large-scope master plan is an urban group project by Roy Galang and Robert Nesbit as part of the Wentworth Masters Barcelona travel group. The group's approach involves blurring the thresholds of different residential incomes by blurring the defined thresholds of park space and new residential constructions to come.

Cape Cod Passive Modern House
A project exploring the historical homes of Cape Cod, Massachusetts where significant writers and artists once lived that incorporates a two-phase design project: first studying the historical home of Lawrence Kohlberg and its renovations, and then adding an intervention to the home or site. This individual intervention involves the addition of a new, third home that propose design decisions that could have been implemented in the two-home design.

Project focusing on the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Boylston Street, a bustling corner in Boston. The project outlines to design an Innovation Center for Wentworth Institute of Technology in order to extend its presence from the Fenway Area into the Back Bay.
